Every day we read about accidents, crimes, and felonies. Therefore, it is worthwhile thinking like media dazzled with the felony and cruelty, we are changing ourselves, as the narrative in the mass media can influence our mental health and sense of security. It is worthwhile looking at these problems not only from the perspective of the observer and the reader of media news reports , but also the unjustly sentenced, experiencing the effects of the media narrative.

Every missing persons case raises a number of legal, criminological, and psychological issues. Regardless of how we define a “missing person”, an appropriate policy must be adopted by state institutions to react appropriately. This includes the creation of guidelines on who is eligible to make a missing persons report, who is competent to undertake missing person investigations (e.g. police force), but also which of the available investigative methods and tools should be actually used when searching for a missing person.

In current domestic and foreign research and extensive discussions on the reasons for unjust convictions, the main reasons include false confession, errors in the work of investigators and the examination of evidence, including primarily incorrect opinions of experts. In the case of incorrect expert opinions, the most common reasons are insufficient qualifications and experience of the expert and carelessness of conducted research combined with low awareness of the role and importance of giving opinions in the process.
