The article shows the position that the Diplomatic Protocol still plays an important role in politics and diplomacy. It affects relations between countries, it is a sign of respect and good intentions. The protocol teaches manners and is a sign of intelligence. Behavior at the table and in contact with other important people reflects the rank and attitude of one country to another. It is necessary to determine which aspects must remain constant and which must evolve in accordance with the development of the world. Tracking changes and trends in human behavior and relations between them is obligatory in order to skillfully combine tradition with modernity.

The article introduces the reader to the „age of surveillance capitalism” by showing how Internet giants push users in specific directions by manipulating information and collecting data in order to get rich and gain power. The aim is to discuss this issue and show how human experience and preferences become a free raw material for corporations. The analysis includes a description of the threats to humanity and democracy and highlights the fact that the line between our free choice and manipulation is blurring, thus raising issues of security and sovereignty. The public does not realize that a displayed picture of dinner on Instagram is a certain data sold to business customers. This text is meant to make us reflect on our choices and behaviors and whether we still have the ability to return from where we are and, most importantly, whether we ourselves want that change.

The technological revolution and digital development have opened up new possibilities for communication and access to information. However, with these changes came the challenges of spreading fake news. Russia needed them to achieve its political goals, and Ukraine fought them to gain international support. The article shows the role and impact of disinformation on the Russian-Ukrainian war. It focuses on the problems of the lack of verification of sources, the spread of hatred and unfounded judgments that can change the fate of the war.
