The author describes the designations with analytical adjectives as the most apparent manifestation of analytical tendencies of adjectives in contemporary Russian. The article captures the history of their research within Russian studies, a wide range of opinions concerning this specific type of designations and their various classifications. It is a sequel to previous outputs published by the author. Attention is also focused on the Czech counterparts of designations with uninflected adjectives in Russian.
NOWA INTERPRETACJA KATEGORII ILOŚCI Streszczenie W artykule autorka, prezentując swoją monografię Funkcjonalnosemantyczne pole ilości w języku rosyjskim w porównaniu z czeskim, opisuje podstawowe środki wyrażenia (leksykalne, morfologiczne, leksykalno-morfologiczne, syntaktyczne i frazeologiczne) poszczególnych typów semantycznych określających ilość (ilość dającą się policzyć, ilość dającą się podzielić i ilość dającą się zmierzyć) w ramach funkcjonalno-semantycznego pola ilości.W centrum uwagi autora znalazły się także cechy typologiczne obu języków w wyrażaniu sto-sunków ilościowych. CATEGORY OF QUANTITY IN NEW INTERPRETATION Summary In the article the author presents monograph The FunctionalSemantic Field of Quantity in Russian in Comparison with Czech. the monograph deals with the ways in which quantity is expressed by nominal word classes in Russian as compared with Czech. the aim of the work is to describe and analyse the basic means of expression (morphological, lexical, lexico-morphological, syntactic and phraseological) of individual types of quantity (countable, divisible, measurable) within the functional-semantic field of quantity. the monograph also focuses on the typological specificities of Russian and Czech in expressing quantitative relations.
The author describes the different types of indeclinable animate appellatives of foreign origin in Russian on the basis of their morphological, genetic, semantic and stylistic characteristics. The paper is connected with previous articles published by the author. Much attention is focused on the parallels of indeclinable words in Czech, especially their morphological and word-forming parameters.
