Wpływ planowanej kolei linowej na zmianę dostępności publicznego transportu zbiorowego na obszarze osiedla Bohnice w Pradze

The main objective of this study is to determine the changes in accessibility to public transport in the residential area of Bohnice in Prague as a result of the cableway construction plan. The spatial scope of the article covers the territory of the capital city of Prague with a special focus on the northern part of the city where the Bohnice residential area is located. An accessibility analysis of public transport was carried out, which showed good accessibility in the areas neighboring the Bohnice residential area, except Praha 6, and reasonably acceptable accessibility to the city center. In addition, the concept of improving the functioning of public transport in the Municipal Districts of Praha Troja and Praha 8 was analysed and its impact on the changing time accessibility was assessed. As a result of the investment, transport accessibility has improved, especially between the Bohnice residential area and Praha 6. The construction of a cableway reduced the travel time between these places by half, from approximately 30 minutes to approximately 15 minutes. Thanks to the analyses carried out, it was possible to give a positive opinion on the planned construction of the cableway and recommended the implementation of the investment. Despite this in February 2024, Prague’s Department of Environmental Protection rejected a project for a cableway in Troja Valley, citing negative impacts on the landscape. While acknowledging potential air quality improvements, officials highlighted the project’s visual intrusion.

Celem opracowania jest określenie zmian dostępności publicznego transportu zbiorowego na obszarze osiedla Bohnice w Pradze na skutek realizacji planu budowy kolei linowej. Artykuł skupia się na analizie dostępności osiedla mieszkaniowego Bohnice zlokalizowanego w północnej części Pragi. Pomiaru dostępności dokonano przy wykorzystaniu metody analizy właściwości obrazów rastrowych, a rezultaty przedstawiono na rycinach utworzonych za pomocą oprogramowania GIS. Wyniki analizy wskazują na wyraźną poprawę dostępności na badanym obszarze. Na podstawie analiz przedstawiono rekomendacje dla realizacji projektu budowy kolei linowej. Dodatkowo w artykule przybliżono aktualny stan opisywanego przedsięwzięcia.
