The author takes the issue of historical research methods, and methods of philosophical research. In his analysis he refers to the psychological views of Charles Blondel. He presents two methods. The first refers to an indication of the circumstances that influenced the development of the personality, the second is based on analyzing the text. Both methods complement one another in a cognitive task.

Autor podejmuje problematykę metody badań historycznych oraz metody badań filozoficznych. W swoich analizach odwołuje się do poglądów psycholo-gicznych Charlesa Blondela. Przedstawia dwie metody. Pierwsza odwołuje się do wskazania na okoliczności, które wpłynęły na kształtowanie się osobowości badanego; druga bazuje na analizie tekstu. Obie metody wzajemnie uzupełniają się w realizacji zadania poznawczego.
