The aim of the article was to present ananalysis of the enterprise activity from the intermodal transport industry in 2013-2017. The article contains in its content: the essence of transport, types of reloading techniques, as well as issues related to transport technologies in intermodal freight transport. Then, in order to analyze the actual market situation, the company providing intermodal services located in Poland, PCC Intermodal S.A. Based on the analysis, I drew conclusions.

Celem artykułu było przedstawienie analizy działalności przedsiębiorstwa z branży przewozów intermodalnych w latach 2013-2017.Artykuł w swojej treści zawiera kolejno: istotę transportu, rodzaje technik przeładunkowych jak również porusza kwestie związane z technologiami przewozowymi w intermodalnym transporcie towarowym. Następnie w celu analizy rzeczywistej sytuacji rynkowej, analizie poddano przedsiębiorstwo świadczące usługi intermodalne, zlokalizowane w Polsce, PCC Intermodal S.A. Na podstawie przeprowadzonej analizy wyciągnięto wnioski.

The fundamental intent of the following article is to reveal the impact of SARS-CoV-2 on the Polish enterprise performance during the coronavirus pandemic. The time range covers the fourth quarter of 2019 and the first half of 2020. The article contains successively the essence of COVID-19, the condition of enterprises in the current conditions, and outlines the actions of the Polish Government caused by the pandemic. Due to the lack of compact studies on SARS-CoV-2, the article is based on publicly available data on the websites of the World Health Organization as well as Polish ministerial institutions.

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie wpływu koronawirusa SARS-CoV-2 na funkcjonowanie przedsiębiorstw w Polsce w dobie pandemii. Zakres czasowy badań obejmuje czwarty kwartał 2019 r. oraz pierwsze półrocze 2020 r. Artykuł zawiera charakterystykę zagrożenia chorobą COVID-19 oraz opis stanu przedsiębiorstw w obecnie panujących warunkach, jak również nakreśla działania Rządu RP spowodowane pandemią. Z racji braku opracowań zwartych dotyczących SARS-CoV-2 artykuł oparto na ogólnodostępnych danych pozyskanych ze stron internetowych Światowej Organizacji Zdrowia oraz polskich instytucji resortowych. Artykuł stanowi wprowadzenie do dalszych prac.
