Autorka zwraca szczególną uwagę na analizę uwarunkowań kulturowych semantyki еупщ leksemu, który odzwierciedla wyobrażenia i stereotypy charakterystyczne dla epoki średniowiecza. Aktualność tego badania wynika z braku danych diachronicznych na temat semantyki leksemu prawda.  The article is devoted to investigation of the main semantic traits of the lexeme truth in the Old Russian language. The author gives particular attention to analysis of the cultural basis of this lexeme which reflects the traditional ideas of the truth typical for the Old Russian period. The insufficiency of the data about the diachronic aspect of the lexeme truth makes the research topical.
