Artykuł ma na celu określenie sposobów odzwierciedlenia obiektu społeczno-medialnego „sankcje wobec Rosji” z perspektywy językoznawstwa kognitywnego. Jako materiał badawczy posłużyły wypowiedzi Rosjan pobrane z zasobów internetowych. Autorka koncentruje się na trzech głównych komponentach (wydarzenie, ocena, emocje) stanowiących strukturę semantyczną badanego konceptu. Kształtowaniespołeczno-medialnego obiektu „sankcje wobec Rosji” opiera się na realizacji wielu binarnych opozycji, wśród których pierwszorzędne znaczenie ma dychotomia„swój–obcy”.

The article is aimed to determine the methods for the reflection of the event „sanctionsagainst Russia” from the point of view of cognitive linguistics. The examplesof the actual material taken from different Internet-resources give a good opportunityto research three main constituent elements (eventive, evaluative and emotive)of the emotional-eventive concept. The formation of the social object «sanctionsagainst Russia” is based on different binary oppositions, where the binary opposition„self–other” is dominating.
