Celem publikacji jest ocena znaczenia klastrów w dobie globalnego kryzysu finansowo-gospodarczego rozpoczętego w 2007 roku w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Analiza przeprowadzona została w oparciu o źródła teoretyczne oraz wyniki badań naukowców z krajów wysokorozwiniętych. Podstawowa hipoteza badawcza zakłada pozytywny wpływ kryzysu na aktywności struktur klastrowych. Artykuł został podzielony na dwie zasadnicze części. W pierwszej przeprowadzona jest analiza źródeł teoretycznych dotycząca omawianego problemu, w drugiej części autor rozważa wyniki badań przeprowadzonych przez naukowców.

The purpose of the paper is to examine the importance of clusters in the time of global financial and economic crisis which began in 2007 in the United States. The analysis was done on the basis of theoretical sources and research results from developed countries. Basic research hypothesis assumes a positive impact of the crisis on the activity of cluster structures. The article is divided into two main parts. In the first carried out an analysis of theoretical sources on the topic, in the second part, the author examines the results of research conducted by scientists.
