At the meeting of the Contact Committee, held in Luxembourg on 12-13 October 2017, the Heads of 28 Supreme Audit Institutions of the EU and the European Court of Auditors discussed to what extent the challenges connected with the crisis of citizens’ trust in public institutions are related to Supreme Audit Institutions. At the meeting, discussions were held on what activities could be taken to effectively join the process of restoring this trust.
