Autorka opisuje nowe zjawisko, czyli kobiecą falę w dokumencie, na przykładzie analizy dwóch filmów: „Komunia” w reżyserii Anny Zameckiej (2016) oraz „Więzi” w reżyserii Zofii Kowalewskiej (2016). W obydwu przypadkach mamy do czynienia z intymnym portretem rodzinnym oglądanym z kobiecej perspektywy. Filmy te wydają się dobrymi przykładami szerszych przemian, jakim współcześnie podlega polskie kino. W obu obrazach brak co prawda perspektywy zaangażowanego feminizmu, a jednak wymykają się one „patriarchalnej perspektywie” z racji konsekwentnego przyjęcia przez autorki kobiecego spojrzenia.

The author describes a new phenomenon, that is a female wave in documentary film, on the example of the analysis of two films: “Communion” directed by Anna Zamecka (2016) and “Ties” directed by Zofia Kowalewska (2016). In both cases, we are dealing with an intimate family portrait viewed from a female perspective. Both films seem to be good examples of wider changes that Polish cinema is currently subject to. In the films “Communion” and “Ties”, there is a lack of perspectives of committed feminism, yet both escape the “patriarchal perspective” because of the authors’ consistent adoption of a woman’s gaze.
