The authoress has carried out a comparative analysis of the subject lists of two important LIS databases: Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA) and a similar database produced by the LIS Library of the Hungarian Library Institute, cataloguing all Hungarian LIS periodicals and also covering selected international LIS journals. The thorough study formulates important suggestions for the further improvement of this type of services.
