Wpływ kategorii morfologicznych na walencję czasownika

The author studies volitional verb variation in a number of morphological forms. The article attempts to establish if verb variations are influenced by grammatical categories and to determine the correlation of same derivatives with their verb roots. The author has compared the variation of personal verbs with the variation of adverbial participles. Variation models formed by finite verbs have been contrasted with those formed by infinitive verbs - forms Such as rozkazano, rozkazuje się, trzeba rozkazać etc. The relation between the verb root and the derivative of a different category has been studied in nouns formed from verbs e.g. pozwolenie and nakaz. The author concludes by defining which morphological categories affect the variation of volitional verbs, which categories modify only the variation model or limit the number of variants, and, finally, which categories break the root - derivative relation.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest problem ekwiwalencji funkcjonalnej aktów grzecznościowych i form adresatywnych w języku polskim w porównaniu z językiem niemieckim i angielskim (w wersji brytyjskiej), celem zaś – zweryfikowanie tezy, że przyczyną braku lub niepełnej ekwiwalencji są przyczyny kulturowe. Autorka spróbuje odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy wykorzystanie znanych koncepcji klasyfikacji kultur E. Halla i G. Hofstedego może pomóc w osiągnięciu założonego celu.

This article addresses the question of functional equivalence of polite expressions and forms of address in the Polish language in comparison with German and English (British English). The aim of this paper is to verify the thesis that no or rough equivalence is due to cultural factors. The author of the article endeavors to answer the question of whether the application of the popular concept of culture put forward by Edward Hall and Geert Hofstede may help achieve this objective.
