Smart specialization in the tourism of Polish regions

This article aims to analyze smart specialization in Polish regions with particular emphasis on tourism. This is done on the basis of strategy papers for each regional and national smart specialization which arose at the turn of the years 2014 and 2015. The article presents the idea of the concept of smart specialization based on the theoretical foundations of regional and economic development and the objective of the emergence of intelligent specialization. In addition, methodologies shown the emergence of intelligent specialization and compared the different regions on selected smart specialization and reference is into national smart specialization (KIS). Furthermore, the author analyzes the spatial smart specialization with particular emphasis on tourism as an interdisciplinary field of economic activity.

Celem artykułu jest analiza inteligentnych specjalizacji regionów Polski, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem turystyki w układzie przestrzennym, a także trendów specjalizacji w turystyce oraz powiązań z innymi branżami. Analizy dokonano na podstawie dokumentów strategicznych poszczególnych regionów oraz krajowych inteligentnych specjalizacji, które powstały na przełomie lat 2014 i 2015. W artykule przedstawiono założenia koncepcji inteligentnych specjalizacji w oparciu o teoretyczne podstawy rozwoju regionalnego i gospodarczego oraz cel wyłonienia inteligentnych specjalizacji. Ponadto ukazano metodologie wyłaniania inteligentnych specjalizacji oraz porównano poszczególne regiony w zakresie wybranych inteligentnych specjalizacji i odniesiono je do krajowych inteligentnych specjalizacji (KIS). Następnie dokonano analizy przestrzennej inteligentnych specjalizacji, z uwzględnieniem turystyki jako interdyscyplinarnej dziedziny ekonomiczno-gospodarczej.
