W artykule zostały zaprezentowane wyniki badania kwestionariuszowego, stanowiącego część projektu badawczego dotyczącego poziomu wykorzystywania wiedzy zarządczej w procesach zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi w organizacjach w Polsce. Badanie zostało przeprowadzone na przełomie lat 2016–2017 na przypadkowej próbie 440 respondentów zatrudnionych na stanowiskach typowych dla wczesnego etapu kariery zawodowej oraz reprezentujących różne firmy i organizacje. Celem badania była identyfikacja zależności prowadzonych działań szkoleniowych w organizacjach z różnym rodzajem kapitału (wyłącznie kapitał polski, zagraniczny i mieszany) i formą prawną (administracja publiczna, spółka z o.o./spółka akcyjna i działalność gospodarcza osób fizycznych). Wyniki wskazują, że istnieją jedynie niewielkie różnice w prowadzonych działaniach szkoleniowych, w metodach pozyskiwania informacji o potrzebach szkoleniowych, źródłach tych informacji oraz planowaniu i realizacji szkoleń pomiędzy organizacjami z różnym poziomem wiedzy na temat zarządzania procesami kadrowymi.

This article presents the results of a questionnaire study that is a part of a research project dealing with the level of application of management knowledge in human resource management processes in companies operating in Poland. The research was conducted at the turn of 2016 and 2017 on a random sample of 440 respondents filling job positions typical of early phases of the professional career and representing various companies. The aim of the study was the identification of relations between training activities carried out by companies with various type of capital (Polish capital, foreign and mixed capital) and the legal status of those enterprises (state–owned companies, public administration institutions, limited liability companies, joint stock companies, and private businesses). The results indicate that there are only small differences in training activities, in methods of procuring information about training needs, and in the planning and execution of training among organizations with various levels of knowledge on staff management processes.

The authors pay particular attention to its significanceand the role it plays in the proper functioning of each organization. The presentpaper presents the results of the author’s study relating to the communication in theorganization, and especially the function of the formal and informal communication.The research target was the identification of sources from which the employeeslearn what is going on at work, defining the role which communication plays inthe organization as well as checking - depending on the preferred source of theinformation - the satisfaction in the inter-personal relations, income satisfaction andgeneral job satisfaction as well as satisfaction with contacts with superiors.A working hypothesis was formulated that the form of the information sourcefrom which employees get to know what is happening in their working environmentsignificantly influences their general job satisfaction, income satisfaction, interpersonalrelations and contacts with their superiors. Additionally a few specificarguments were presented which were positively verified. Generally the reseachhas proved that communication within the organization plays significant role andthat it considerably affects the general job satisfaction.

Key words: organizational culture, organization, employees, management, business,public organization.SummaryThe organizational culture in the contemporary world may contribute to the competitionadvantage. It is an extremely important aspect from the point of view ofthe organization functioning and its employees. The objective of this article consistsin the presentation of the organizational culture in the comparative perspectiveof the business and public organization. After a short description of the notion,typology, function and types of the organizational culture the author makesan analysis of each aspect of the organizational culture paying special attention tothe functioning of business and public organizations. On the basis of models andtheories presented in the subject literature as well as on the basis of the researchconducted in this field the author also points out certain differences and similaritiesof both such organizations.

Streszczenie: W niniejszym artykule zostały zaprezentowane wyniki autorskich badań własnych dotyczących metod poszukiwania pracy. Badanie zostało przeprowadzone w roku 2013 i stanowi część projektu badawczego, dotyczącego bezrobocia i sposobów poszukiwania pracy. Celem prezentowanego badania była identyfikacja zależności pomiędzy korzystaniem z protekcji przy poszukiwaniu pracy a oceną czynników ułatwiających oraz utrudniających znalezienie pracy, oceną cech pracy łatwiejszej i trudniejszej do znalezienia, sposobami poszukiwania pracy, a także ocenę częstotliwości zjawiska protekcji. W ramach podjętej problematyki podjęto więc próbę odpowiedzi na postawione problemy badawcze:> czy istnieje zależność pomiędzy korzystaniem z protekcji przy poszukiwaniu pracy a oceną czynników ułatwiających i utrudniających znalezienie pracy?> czy istnieje zależność pomiędzy korzystaniem z protekcji przy poszukiwaniu pracy a oceną cech pracy łatwiejszej i trudniejszej do znalezienia?> czy istnieje zależność pomiędzy korzystaniem z protekcji przy poszukiwaniu pracy a sposobami poszukiwania pracy?Słowa kluczowe: metody poszukiwania pracy, czynniki ułatwiające i utrudniających znalezienie pracy, protekcjaSummary: In the present article the results of the Author's own research relating to methods of looking for a job were presented. The research was conducted in 2013 and makes part of the research project with regard to unemployment and methods of job seeking. The purpose of the presented study was the identification of relations existing among the use of protection and backing while looking for a job and the assessment of factors facilitating or hindering finding a job, the evaluation of features of the job which is easier or more difficult to find, job seeking methods as well as the analysis of frequency of the protection phenomenon.Keywords: methods of job searching, elements facilitating and hindering job finding, patronage
