Internet serves first of all to realise one's freedom of expression. Taking use of that freedom has however its limits. One of them is the right to privacy. Interference with the right to privacy brings about criminal responsibility, civil liability as well as other forms of responsibility. Both the scope of the freedom of expression and of the right to privacy are not determined in a sacrosanct way, they can be modified. The privacy of public persons (persons holding the highest positions in a country) is protected to a lesser extent than privacy of others.
