The article is dealing with pre-assessment of the quality management system in automotive companies. The crux of the issue is to identify the factors determining the success of this project. Fifteen criteria divided into soft and hard, and in relation to the company to: internal and external have been presented. The criteria can be used to assess the readiness of the automotive company to implement the system. The evaluation results indicate the necessary adaptation actions or grounds for withdraw from the implementation of the quality management system.

Artykuł dotyczy oceny przedwdrożeniowej systemu zarządzania jakością w przedsiębiorstwach motoryzacyjnych. Sedno zagadnienia tkwi w określeniu czynników determinujących powodzenie tego przedsięwzięcia. Zaprezentowano piętnaście kryteriów z podziałem na miękkie i twarde, oraz względem zależności z przedsiębiorstwem na: wewnętrzne i zewnętrzne. Kryteria mogą być wykorzystywane do oceny gotowości przedsiębiorstwa motoryzacyjnego do wdrożenia systemu. Z oceny wynikają konieczne działania dostosowawcze lub przesłanki do odstąpienia od wdrożenia systemu zarządzania jakością.
