W artykule autorzy dokonują analizy przepisów konstytucyjnych oraz regulacji zawartych w ustawach szczegółowych związanych z kompetencjami prezydenta w zakresie bezpieczeństwa państwa. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie jaki realny wpływ na polskie wojsko oraz bezpieczeństwo państwa ma Prezydent RP, który w czasie pokoju pełni swoje obowiązki w zakresie zwierzchnictwa nad siłami zbrojnymi za pośrednictwem szefa resortu obrony narodowej.

In this article the authors analyze the constitutional provisions and regulations contained in specific laws related to the competences of the President in the field of national security. The aim of the article is to show what real influence the President of the Republic of Poland has on the Polish army and national security. The President performs his duties in the field of authority over the armed forces through the Chief of National Defence.

Disability is an important issue found in every society. People with disabilities belong to a category of people at high risk of social exclusion, including on the labour market. In the first part of the article, the authors explain the meaning of the term 'person with a disability'. The following parts discuss the legal basis for the freedom to choose work in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and the regulations of the International Labour Organisation and the United Nations. In addition, employment opportunities for persons with disabilities on the open and sheltered labour market will be briefly introduced. The authors also draw attention to the possibility of using new forms of employment in the context of activating this social group.

Niepełnosprawność jest ważnym problemem występującym w każdym społeczeństwie. Osoby z niepełnosprawnościami należą do kategorii osób o dużym ryzyku wykluczenia społecznego, w tym również na rynku pracy. W pierwszej części artykułu autorzy wyjaśnili znaczenie pojęcia „osoba niepełnosprawna”. W kolejnych częściach omówione zostały podstawy prawne wolności wyboru pracy w Konstytucji RP oraz regulacjach Międzynarodowej Organizacji Pracy i Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych. Ponadto zwięźle przybliżono możliwości zatrudnienia osób z niepełnosprawnościami na otwartym i chronionym rynku pracy. Autorzy zwrócili również uwagę na możliwość wykorzystania nowych form zatrudnienia w kontekście aktywizacji tej grupy społecznej.
