Celem artykułu jest próba odpowiedzi na pytanie o wzajemne relacje między globalnymi megatrendami a procesami decyzyjnymi współczesnego człowieka. Rozważania koncentrują się wokół nowych trendów, zachowań ludzkich i przemian, zachodzących w procesie decyzyjnym. Autorka stawia tezę, że ludzie w turbulentnej rzeczywistości wykorzystują coraz więcej skrótów myślowych – heurystyk, zarówno w osobistym, jak i rynkowym procesie decyzyjnym. Uproszczone myślenie to znak czasów i jednocześnie ochrona dla przeciążonego bodźcami umysłu ludzkiego.

The aim of this article is to attempt to answer the question regarding the relationship between global megatrends and decision-making processes of a person nowadays. The considerations revolve around new trends, human behavior and transformations taking place in the decision-making process. The author argues that people in the turbulent reality use increasingly more mental shortcuts: heuristics in decision-making processes both personal and market choice situations. Simplistic thinking is a sign of the times and also a mechanism protecting human mind from excessive stimulation.
