In the paper the authors present their own research on the transformation of parental attitudes in people connected with the Movement of the Home Church. Thirty parents of couples who have just joined the movement took part in the research, and thirty couples who have been with it for five years. We have observed some positive changes in an extensive emotional concentration on the child (parents become less overprotective and less fearing), they develop a proper emotional contact with their child (there is more freedom in communication, tendency to develop the child's activity, less irritable, and tend to establish a contact with their child), and the relation to parental roles (more acceptance for the "home" functions and greater commitment of fathers). The findings call for further verification, among other things, in order to define the particular changes and mechanisms of their formation.
