La lexie intelligence artificielle dans les titres de presse francais echos dune revolution technologique

Rooted in a discourse analysis perspective, this study investigates uses of the lexie intelli-gence artificielle (Eng. artificial intelligence) in the French press. We aim at scoping outhow artificial intelligence, as a new technology, is perceived. To that end, using the Frenchpress database Europresse, we extracted 82 titles and introduction summaries, from 2021national daily newspapers, in which intelligence artificielle occurs. Discourse analysis hasbeen performed on that corpus. It leads to distinguish four points of view: (1) a technologicalfascination; (2) business enthusiasm; (3) a willingness to understand and explain the technology itself; (4) an ethical concern. The analysis highlights that, in the French press,enthusiasm is bigger than worries.

Niniejsza analiza, zakorzeniona w perspektywie analizy dyskursu, przedstawia zastosowaniajednostki leksykalnej „sztuczna inteligencja” w prasie francuskiej. Celem artykułu jest zbadanie,w jaki sposób postrzega się sztuczną inteligencję jako nową technologię. Korzystającz francuskiej bazy danych prasowych Europresse, wyodrębniono z 2021 krajowychdzienników 82 tytuły i wprowadzające akapity artykułów prasowych (tzw. lidy), w którychwystępuje leksem „sztuczna inteligencja”. Analiza zebranego korpusu prowadzi do wyróżnieniaczterech punktów widzenia: (1) fascynacja technologiczna; (2) entuzjazm biznesowy;(3) chęć zrozumienia i wyjaśnienia samej technologii; (4) troska o etykę. Badanie pokazało,że w prasie francuskiej, w odniesieniu do sztucznej inteligencji, entuzjazm wybrzmiewa bardziejniż niepokój.
