Sposoby ochrony oszczędności gospodarstw domowych przed inflacją na przykładzie Polski

The reduction in the purchasing power of money makes household resources increasingly scarce. This article presents the results of a literature review of selected ways to protect household savings from inflation on the example of Poland, followed by an attempt to evaluate them and select the most effective way according to the author. The literaturę review allowed to describe the phenomenon of inflation, assets, and household savings. Based on which three ways to protect savings – gold, real estate, stocks – were pointed out and characterized. They were characterized based on 3 criteria – risk, rate of return and difficulty of entry. Due to the growth in the long term and the low cost of entry which makes it convenient to adapt the size of the householdʹs investment to the size of the savings and the low risk, the author chose gold as the most effective way to protect household savings from inflation.

Spadek siły nabywczej pieniądza powoduje, że zasoby gospodarstw domowych są coraz mniejsze. W niniejszym artykule zaprezentowano wyniki przeglądu literatury dotyczącej wybranych sposobów ochrony oszczędności gospodarstw domowych przed inflacją, a następnie podjęta została próba ich oceny. Przegląd literatury przedmiotu pozwolił na opisanie zjawiska inflacji, majątku i oszczędności gospodarstw domowych. Na podstawie przeprowadzonej analizy określone zostały i opisane trzy sposoby ochrony oszczędności – złoto, nieruchomości i akcje, które następnie zostały ocenione według 3 kryteriów, tj. ryzyko, wskaźnik rentowności oraz trudność wejścia w posiadanie. Przeprowadzona w niniejszym artykule analiza pozwala stwierdzić, że najskuteczniejszym sposobem ochrony oszczędności gospodarstw domowych przed inflacją jest złoto.
