The article refers to a confrontative description of Polish and Belarusian syntactic systems. It represents an attempt to analyse semantic-syntactic structures containing verbal predicates determining/ that express negative emotions and feelings. A discrimination of similarities and differences in the distributive features of predicates may enrich a lexiconografic description of Polish and Belarusian predicates, and facilitates a glottodidactic process
