The text analyses the Les Nouveaux commanditaires model presented in 1991 by the French artist François Hers. This proposal intended to democratize art and enable any individual or group to initiate a creative process or commission a work of art. In his brief manifesto-protocol Hers outlined only the general principles of this alternative system. By citing three selected projects A. Kilian attempts to critically address part of the assumptions, but also to highlight the potential of the proposal in question. The text includes the first translation of the protocol to Polish.

Tekst analizuje model Les Nouveaux commanditaires przedstawiony w roku 1991 przez francuskiego artystę Françoisa Hers´a. Propozycja Hers´a miała na celu zdemokratyzowanie sztuki i umożliwienie każdej osobie lub grupie zainicjowanie procesu twórczego lub zamówienia dzieła sztuki. W swoim krótkim manifeście-protokole Hers nakreślił jedynie ogólne zasady tego alternatywnego sytemu. Przytaczając trzy wybrane projekty, staram się krytycznie odnoszę się do części założeń, ale także kreślę potencjał tej propozycji. Tekst zawiera zawiera także pierwsze polskie tłumaczenie protokołu.
