Tradycja kościuszkowska w niepodległościowym nurcie walki zbrojnej 1939-1956

The article indicates the Kościuszko tradition in the Polish armed formations in 1939-1956: Drużyny Robotnicze (Workers’ Teams) of the Polish Socialist Party (the so-called Red Scythemen), which fought in defense of Oksyw in Gdynia in September 1939; 303 Warsaw Squadron RAF; the Home Army, the Peasant Battalions and the People’s Security Guard (Ludowa Straż Bezpieczeństwa), as well as the 1st and 4th Infantry Divisions of the Polish Army. The memory of the Kościuszko Uprising and the universal message of the Kościuszko tradition gave hope to successive generations of Poles, who fought 150 years later for the same values as insurgents - independence and sovereignty. The tradition of the insurrection of 1794 also built a vision of a future, just, democratic, independent and fully sovereign post-war Poland.

Artykuł wskazuje na obecność tradycji kościuszkowskiej w działaniach polskich zbrojnych formacji niepodległościowych lat 1939-1956: Drużyn Robotniczych przy PPS (Czerwonych Kosynierów), walczących w obronie gdyńskiego Oksywia we wrześniu 1939 roku; 303 Warszawskiego Dywizjonu Myśliwskiego im. Tadeusza Kościuszki, Armii Krajowej, Batalionów Chłopskich i Ludowej Straży Bezpieczeństwa, a także 1 i 4 Dywizji Piechoty Wojska Polskiego. Pamięć o Powstaniu Kościuszkowskim i jego uniwersalne idee napawały nadzieją kolejne pokolenia Polaków, walczących 150 lat później o te same wartości co insurgenci – niepodległość i suwerenność. Tradycja insurekcji 1794 roku wspomagała również budowę wizji przyszłej, sprawiedliwej, demokratycznej, niepodległej i w pełni suwerennej powojennej Polski.

W artykule wskazano na podstawy prawne kwalifikacji zbrodni katyńskiej w kategoriach ludobójstwa (genocide), polemicznie odnosząc się do argumentów wysuwanych przez Federację Rosyjską, która konsekwentnie neguje zasadność traktowania mordu dokonanego na mocy decyzji Politbiura KC WKP(b) z 5 III 1940 r. jako zbrodni nieulegającej przedawnieniu.The article indicates the legal basis for qualification of the Katyn Massacre in the category of genocide. Polemicising with the arguments put forward by the Russian Federation which persistently negates the validity of regarding the massacre perpetrated under the order of the Politbiuro of the Bolshevik Party Central Committee issued on 5 March 1940 as a non-expiring crime against humanity.
