The paper presents results of anthropological examinations of human bone remains from the La Tène Period discovered on the cementery in Chłapowo. The studies covered 25 individuals from cremation graves. Their indications of sex and age on the basis of morphological traits are given (Tables 1 and 2). In two graves animal cremated bones were present as an admixture to human remains. Infant life expectancy (e0= 24.5 years and opportunity for selection (Ibs= 0.38 and Rpot= 0.68) has been compared to adeqate characteristics of other samples from the La Tène Period in Great Poland (Table 3). The frequency of particular bone remains observed in the investigated sample is presented in Table 4. Pars petrosa and fragments of corpus vertebrae are the most frequent ones.
