Висвітлено позицію правлячих кіл Російської держави у питанні розробки та реалізації міжнародної політики щодо Східної Грузії у 1801–1806 рр. З’ясовано вплив імперської політики Санкт-Петербурга щодо Східної Грузії на зміну міжнародного становища Російської держави на Кавказі у 1801–1806 рр.

The article explores the role and place of eastern Georgia in international relations of the Russian Empire in 1801-1806. The causes of Russian expansion against the East Georgian lands during the studied period were characterized. The position of the ruling circles of the Russian state in the matter of development and implementation of international policy towards Eastern Georgia in 1801-1806 was described. The influence of St. Petersburg imperial policy on East Georgia at changing international situation of the Russian state in the Caucasus in 1801-1806 was clarified.

З’ясовано вплив Франції на міжнародне становище Російської імперії. Висвітлені позиції різних угрупувань у середині російських правлячих кіл у питанні розробки та реалізації міждержавних відносин щодо Франції у 1815–1825 рр.

The article studies the role and place of France in the international relations of Russia in 1815-1825. It characterizes the interdependence of the two players of international policy in cooperation in various areas. The influence of France on the international position of the Russian Empire is studied out. The positions of various groups in the middle of the Russian ruling circles, concerning the issue of development and implementation of international relations with France in 1815-1825 are highlighted.
