The author of the presented contribution analyzes the problems of stagefright emphasizing the roots of stagefright. The theoretical analysis of the problem is complemented by the results of the research that was carried out with the main goal to find out the emergence of stagefright among students of the Pedagogic Faculty, MBU in Banská Bystrica, its impact on the performance and influence of personality characteristics of students on the level of experienced stagefright.
