The aim of my work was a comparative analysis of the toccatas contained in organ symphonies by Feliks Nowowiejski, Charles-Marie Widor and Louis Vierne. In particular, I focused on presenting the toccata genre itself, and then showing similar and different elements in the works of the title composers. The entire work was supported by Polish and English literature, articles and an interview. The basic question that I wanted to answer was: what differences and similarities can be found in the same species represented by two completely different centers? In this case, comparing toccatas from Polish and French organ symphonies.
The article is based on many years’ authors experience in preparation of foreigners to study in Poland. We show the goals, phases and methods of teaching Polish as a foreign language in mathematics. In the table we present the detailed learning contents including vocabulary, grammatical structures, specific phrases and required language skills. We also discuss the methods of verification of teaching effectiveness.

Artykuł powstał na podstawie długoletnich doświadczeń autorek przygotowujących cudzoziemców do studiów w Polsce. Pokazujemy cele, fazy i metody nauczania języka polskiego jako obcego w zakresie matematyki. W tabeli prezentujemy szczegółowe treści kształcenia wraz ze słownictwem, strukturami gramatycznymi, specyficznymi zwrotami i wymaganymi umiejętnościami językowymi. Omawiamy też metody sprawdzania kompetencji językowych słuchaczy.
