The article, prepared within the framework of The National Programme for the Development of the Humanities entitled Katalog XVI wieku z historycznej kolekcji Ossolineum [A 16th Century Catalogue form the Ossolineum Historical Collection], describes a part of 16th century Ossolineum historical collection of prints, and the part of the collection in question is based on Katalog starych druków Biblioteki Zakładu Narodowego im. Ossolińskich. Polonica wieku XVI [The Ossoliński National Institute Old Prints Catalogue. 16th Century Polonica] edited by M. Bohonos (Wrocław 1965). The aim of the article is to present most valuable prints from the collection and to promote the knowledge about them.
