Niniejszy artykuł traktuje o bieżącej sytuacji politycznej w Afganistanie, skupiając się na fenomenie Rządu Jedności Narodowej. Część pierwsza opisuje okoliczności, które towarzyszyły powstaniu tego unikalnego w afgańskiej historii tworu administracyjnego. Druga jest poświęcona analizie dokumentu formującego RJN. Kolejna w skrócie opisuje prerogatywy nowoutworzonego urzędu szefa egzekutywy. Następnie poruszone jest zagadnienie praktycznego funkcjonowania RJN, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem konsekwencji dla bezpieczeństwa i równowagi wewnętrznej państwa. Część piąta stanowi zwięzła ocenę dotychczasowej aktywności RJN. Podsumowanie artykułu stanowi ramowa prognoza rozwoju sytuacji w 2016 r.

The article explains current political situation in Afghanistan, focuses on the phenomenon of the National Unity Government. First part describes circumstances, in which this unique for the history of Afghanistan administrative subject was brought to life. Second one is the analysis of the founding document of the National Unity Government. Further part presents prerogatives of the newly created Chief Executive Post. Then author explains, how the National Unity Government acts in practice, with particular emphasis on its consequences for the security and internal balance. Fifth part is a brief evaluation of the National Unity Government current activity. To summarize, author presents general prognosis of further situation development for 2016.
