The paper deals with three clusters of questions: 1. How does the bodily self emerge from the biologically given body? 2. How and why can this process be disturbed? 3. How can “dream-talking” (in the psychoanalytic situation) allow the patient to embody their biological body, and hence endow it with subjectivity? The processes are shown on the example of clinical material. Taking inspiration from (among other sources) Merleau-Ponty’s phenomenology of intrecorporeity, Dolar’s reflection on voice and Ogden’s thoughts on dreaming, the author develops her own notion of dream-talking and shows its crucial role in the constitution of the embodied subject.

Artykuł porusza trzy zespoły zagadnień: 1. Jak z biologicznie danego ciała powstaje cielesne self? 2. Jak i dlaczego dochodzi do zakłócenia tego procesu? 3. Jak dzięki śnieniomówieniu w sytuacji psychoanalitycznej pacjent może ucieleśnić, a tym samym upodmiotowić swoje biologiczne ciało? Procesy te zostają pokazane na materiale klinicznym. Inspirując się m.in. fenomenologią międzycielesności Merleau-Ponty’ego, refleksją Dolara na temat głosu i myślami Ogdena dotyczącymi śnienia, autorka rozwija własną koncepcję śnieniomówienia i jego niezbywalnej roli w powstawaniu ucieleśnionego podmiotu.

Psychoanaliza bez seksu. Seks bez fantazji

The essay is composed of five interconnected parts. In the introduction (1), the author outlines the paradoxes of sexuality in today’s “post-postmodern” societies-pansexuality on the one hand and desexualisation on the other. She (2) briefly reviews several revolutions in thinking about the sexual up to now, focusing on Sigmund Freud’s Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality, which she analyses in terms of their relevance. She asks (3) about the common ground and divergences between psychoanalysis and queer theory. Following Jean Laplanche, Donald Meltzer and queer theory, she proposes (4) conceiving the unconscious as a queer field by definition. The essay concludes (5) with a reflection on the fundamental paradox of the age of sexual liberalisation: the enlargement of areas of freedom and, at the same time, the disappearance of the unconscious.

Esej składa się z pięciu powiązanych ze sobą części. We wprowadzeniu (1) autorka szkicuje paradoksy seksualności w dzisiejszych „postpostnowoczesnych” społeczeństwach – z jednej panseksualizm, z drugiej desekualizację. Następnie (2) dokonuje skrótowego przeglądu dotychczasowych rewolucji w dziedzinie myślenia o seksualności, zatrzymując się na Trzech rozprawach z teorii seksualności Freuda, które analizuje pod kątem ich aktualności. Pyta (3) o momenty wspólne i o rozbieżności między psychoanalizą i teorią queer. Idąc śladami Jeana Laplanche’a, Donalda Meltzera i teorii queer, proponuje (4) ujęcie nieświadomego jako obszaru queer z samej jego istoty. Esej zamyka (5) refleksja na temat zasadniczego paradoksu epoki seksualnej liberalizacji: powiększenia obszarów wolności i zarazem zanikania nieświadomego.

The essay is a series of reflections around Freud’s discourse, his ideas of the uncanny, the double and the alien, his theory of the death drive, and the problem of the intergenerational transmission of trauma. The author sees the uncanny of Freud’s discourse in its ability to maintain a shaky position between the perspective of positive knowledge and the constant transgression of that perspective, which creates an atmosphere of fundamental unease. She shows with Freud and against him that the alien is not a projection of familiarity but a real, decentering experience. According to the author, The Uncanny foreshadows Freud’s Copernican revolution in his Beyond the Pleasure Principle, in which he renounces libido as the basis of the economy of psychic lif, introduces an anti-economy of death and anticipates the contemporary non-economic understanding of trauma. The essay closes with a reflection around the uncanny in our time as the lack of lack and forgetfulness of forgetfulness.

Esej jest serią refleksji wokół dyskursu Freuda, jego koncepcji niesamowitego, sobowtóra i obcego, teorii popędu śmierci i problemu międzypokoleniowego przekazu traumy. Autorka dostrzega niesamowitość dyskursu Freuda w zdolności utrzymania chwiejnej pozycji pomiędzy perspektywą wiedzy pozytywnej a nieustannym przekraczaniem tej perspektywy, co stwarza atmosferę zasadniczego zaniepokojenia. Pokazuje wraz z Freudem i zarazem przeciwko niemu, że obcość nie jest projekcją swojskości, ale realnym, decentrującym nas doświadczeniem. Esej Niesamowite zapowiada, zdaniem autorki, rewolucję kopernikańską Freuda dokonującą się w rozprawie Poza zasadą przyjemności, w której rezygnuje on z libido jako podstawy ekonomii życia psychicznego, wprowadza antyekonomię śmierci i antycypuje współczesne nieekonomiczne rozumienie traumy. Esej zamyka refleksja wokół niesamowitego w naszych czasach jako braku braku i zapomnienia zapomnienia.
