National-socialist propagand in Wałbrzych calendar „Schlesischer Bergland-Kalender” In 1928–1942 in the city of Waldenburg (present Wałbrzych) there was issued a calendar „Schlesischer Bergland-Kalender” edited by Max Kleinwächter. After taking the power over by Hitler, articles glorifying him and the Third Reich were to be found in the periodical. Doktor Erich Widdecke was the most prolific representative of national-socialist propagand on the pages of the newspaper called „Neues Tageblatt”. The article prezenter also the activities of Wałbrzych NSDAP.

The Wang Church was transported from the Norwegian village Vang to Berlin, and then do Giant Mountains in 1842. The Norwegian painter Dahl made the king Frederick William IV of Prussia buy the church. Countless Frederica von Reden of Bukowiec convinced him to move it to Giant Mountains, to Karpacz. On 28th July 1844 the church was consecrated. Now it is a very important tourist attraction of the Giant Mountains. It has been an inspiration for writers and poets.
