The article is a miniguide and report describing the walk through the Old Praga district, which took place during our program in July called “How beautiful Warsaw is in July…”. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the history of one of the most interesting districts in Warsaw. During the WW2, Praga avoided the fate of the rest of Warsaw, almost destroyed by Nazis. Here in Praga we can experience the atmosphere of the pre-war city. We can see the original tenements that witnessed not only the tragic events of the twentieth century, but also the vibrant city of many cultures and religions in the nineteenth century. Today, we can discover the traces of those times and meet the folklore of the contemporary Praga. The district of contrasts. The district that revives and transforms, without forgetting about the past and its identity.
