In August 1887 Stanisław Wyspiański went to Eastern Galicia. The drawings that he made during this trip are a very valuable illustrative source for learning about the monuments of this area. In the article, attention was focused on the drawings from Drohobych. Comparative and field research allowed us to discover unknown information about history of some monuments, and even to recognize and find works of arts considered lost.

Stanisław Wyspiański w sierpniu 1887 r. wyjechał do Galicji Wschodniej. Rysunki, które pozostały z tej podróży, stanowią bardzo cenne źródło obrazowe do poznania zabytków z tych terenów. W artykule uwaga została skupiona na rysunkach z Drohobycza. Badania porównawcze i kwerenda terenowa pozwoliły uzupełnić dane dotyczące ich dziejów, a nawet rozpoznać i odnaleźć dzieła uważane za zaginione.
