This paper presents the issue of mutual relations between the personality structure and effectiveness of the performed occupation of a pre-school and early school education teacher. In this publication author focuses on identifying these qualities and in order to do so analyzes and interprets the results of own research conducted in a group of 38 students of the first year studying the pre-school and early school education field of study in the Institute of Pedagogy State University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz.

W artykule zaprezentowany został problem wzajemnych relacji pomiędzy strukturą osobowości a efektywnością wykonywania zawodu nauczyciela wychowania przedszkolnego i wczesnoszkolnego. Autor w publikacji skupia się na zidentyfikowaniu tych cech i aby tego dokonać, analizuje oraz interpretuje wyniki badań własnych przeprowadzonych na wybranej grupie studentek pierwszego roku kierunku pedagogika przedszkolna i wczesnoszkolna Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Zawodowej w Nowym Sączu.

The article will present issues in the area of crisis intervention, understood as immediate specialized psychological support for an individual experiencing a difficult situation. The primary goal of crisis intervention is to sup-port the person experiencing a crisis in returning to mental balance and restoring their ability to cope independently with the challenges that are a consequence of the experienced life problems. The text will address the nature of crisis, its negative consequences on functioning of a person. The main goals and objectives of crisis intervention will be presented. The last part of the text will be devoted to the discussion of various forms and strategies of conducting psychological interventions aimed at preventing the transition of the crisis reaction into a state of psychosocial dysfunction.

W artykule przedstawiono problematykę dotyczącą zagadnień z obszaru interwencji kryzysowej rozumianej jako natychmiastowe specjalistyczne wsparcie psychologiczne jednostki doświadczającej sytuacji trudnej. Nadrzędnym celem interwencji kryzysowej jest udzielenie wsparcia osobie doświadczającej kryzysu w powrocie do równowagi psychicznej oraz przywrócenie jej zdolności do samodzielnego radzenia sobie z wyzwaniami, które są następstwem doświadczanych problemów życiowych. W tekście omówiono kwestie dotyczące natury kryzysu, jego negatywnych następstw na funkcjonowanie człowieka. Przedstawiono główne cele i założenia interwencji kryzysowej. Ostatnia część tekstu poświęcona została omówieniu różnych form i strategii prowadzenia interwencji psychologicznych mających na celu przeciwdziałanie przejściu reakcji kryzysowej w stan niewydolności psychospołecznej.

The article attempts to determine whether the intensity of personality traits identified in Paul T. Costa and Robert McCrae's five-factor personality model affects the visual preferences of the recipient of an message. In order to answer this research question, the authors conducted their own research at the turn of February and March 2025. The research methods used were the NEO-FFI Personality Inventory by Costa and McCrae and a questionnaire of their own authorship regarding the visual preference of poster. The research was conducted on 100 students, including 42 men and 58 women aged 18 to 37 (M = 21; SD = 3.30).

W artykule podjęta została próba odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy natężenie cech osobowości wyodrębnionych w pięcioczynnikowym modelu osobowości Paula T. Costy i Roberta McCrae wpływa na preferencje wizualne odbiorcy komunikatu. Autorzy w celu odpowiedzi na tak postawione pytanie badawcze na przełomie lutego i marca 2025 roku przeprowadzili badania własne. Jako metody badawcze wykorzystano Inwentarz Osobowości NEO-FFI Costy i McCrea oraz kwestionariusz ankiety własnego autorstwa dotyczącej preferencji wizualnej plakatu. Badania przeprowadzono na grupie 100 studentów, w tym 42 mężczyzn i 58 kobiet w wieku od 18 do 37 lat (M = 21; SD = 3,30).
