The aim of the article is to reveal the essential characteristics of research culture of the future music teachers in the context of personal, pragmatic and axiological approaches that allow holistically and systematically, based on interdisciplinary strategies, to trace the peculiarities of functioning and development of this personal phenomenon in the system of higher pedagogical education. In this paper we use such research methods as theoretical analysis of scientific funds, the inductive-deductive method in the study of the essential characteristics of research culture of the future music teachers as a personal phenomenon. The result of this study is identification of the characteristics of research culture of the future music teacher as the ability to combine various methods of scientific knowledge, that is, the implementation of scientific methods of research, the conceptual-categorical apparatus of pedagogics of music education in the developed pedagogical models or strategies, and forms of creative cognition, which is addressed to the search for artistic images. Based on the understanding of cultural, scientific, psycho-pedagogical and artistic aspects of the identified problems, the definition of research culture of the future music teachers as a complex, dynamic qualities of the personality, that are manifested in the ability to synthesize analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive mental activity and emotional-imaginative comprehension of musical works, the embodiment of the scientific, educational and artistic ideal in the research process, the application of scientific knowledge in pedagogical activity as a scientific-theoretical (explanatory) and design-technological (rectifier) function. The practical importance of research is evident in the development of a model for the formation of research culture of the future music teachers in the training process to ensure scientific and methodological training of students of art faculties. The conclusion is made and the prospects for further research are identified: the research culture of the future music teacher manifests itself as a means of cognitive-creative self-realization and personal self-actualization in the educational and artistic space that provides for the formation of the cognitive potential of the individual, his/her research and creative qualities, and affects the social determinism of research, building individual pathways to the future musical-pedagogical activity. The chosen direction of research can be continued in identification of the features of the future teachers’ research culture formation in the field of artistic education abroad.

In the article the question of the relative technological mechanism of the research culture of the future music master, that comes forward as an invariant core, presents a research tool, a technology of scientific cognition, is considered in the article, that is determined by existent scientific style of pedagogical society, formed professional-pedagogical culture of a future teacher, researcher, musician and combined with the emotionally-vivid and artistic understanding of musical art. The comprehension of cultural, psychological, pedagogical and study of art sources on the issue of research made it possible to define research culture of the future music master as a dynamic, integrated quality of a personality that appears in a capacity for analytical, inductive-deductive intellection and emotionally vivid understanding of musical art, embodiment of a scientific-artistic, aesthetic, musical, pedagogical ideal in the research, application of scientific (pedagogical and study of art) knowledge in pedagogical activity as well as theoretical (explanatory) and structurally-technological (converting) function. In accordance with logic of our reasoning on the basis of cultural approach technological, personality and creative components of axiology of research culture of the future music masters are outlined. Activity conception allows to examine the technological component of the research culture of the future music master as such, that represents the methodology (methods, receptions, procedures, algorithms, charts, norms, standards, research logic) of receipt of scientific knowledge and gives an idea about organization of research process and implementation in the certain sequence of research executions, that in the totality (to the system) create technology of research activity, that corresponds to a certain culture and “scientific mentality”. The special value is acquired by creative approach in realization of research strategies in the sphere of musical and pedagogical education, as well as its main dominants – artistic, aesthetic and spiritual, creative. In this context the research activity of the music master must be examined as such, that is determined, on the one hand, by scientific norms, values and methodological reference-points, on the other hand, – by requirements and tasks of musical, pedagogical education, by its maintenance.

In the article the monitoring component of the multicomponent system of the scientifically-methodical providing the system of forming of research culture of future music master is considered. In the process of professional preparation that a complex different structure technology, a criterion vehicle (totality of criteria and indexes), a typology of the levels of the indicated personality phenomenon are presented. In our study we’ve proceeded from the fact that the feature research culture of the future teacher of music is found in its ability to combine different methods of scientific knowledge as the implementation of the research finding, scientific methods, mastery of conceptual-categorical apparatus pedagogy of music education as a scientific basis pedagogical models (strategies) and ways of artistic knowledge that search turned artistic images that relate to the idea of the artistic works and are found in specific sensual, aesthetically defined form. The author has given the determination of the concept research culture of future music master. This is a quality of a personality that is capable of synthesizing scientific knowledge and artistic methods, analytical and synthetic mental activity and emotional and imaginative comprehension of music, the embodiment of artistic and aesthetic, musical and pedagogical research in search of the ideal, the use of research (and teaching of art) knowledge as scientific and theoretical (explanatory) and design-technological (transformative) function. The special value is the implementation of the individual research tasks and diploma (course, master’s degree) works. The research tasks are examined in the article. They orient a future teacher-researcher-musician on analytical, synthetic, summarizing, systematizing, design, reflection activity and envisage the pedagogical organization of the research procedures, the methods of research of certain science, the methods of intellectual activity, the requirements and terms of tasks projected logically. The individual research tasks are based on knowledge of pedagogics of musical education, artistic pedagogics, artistic phenomena, conformities to law of their functioning, illumination of different aspects in the decision of the pedagogical problems. Thus the monitoring component of the scientific and methodical providing of the system of forming of research culture of future music master in the process of professional preparation gives an idea about the complex pedagogical technology worked out by the author.
