Artykuł prezentuje indywidualny przypadek ucznia – dziecka z zespołem Aspergera. Pojęcie to odnosi się zwykle do osób o przeciętnej inteligencji i dobrych umiejętnościach językowych. Zespół Aspergera czy autyzm wysokofunkcjonujący nie jest jednostką diagnostyczną, ale terminem jeszcze używanym przez część lekarzy, psychologów, pedagogów. Obecnie uznaje się, że nie ma praktycznie żadnej różnicy między zespołem Aspergera a autyzmem osób wysokofunkcjonujących i oba terminy mogą być w praktyce klinicznej używane zamiennie. W tekście poruszane są również zagadnienia dotyczące zainteresowań i ograniczeń osób z ZA.
