A perusal of the Pudelek gossip website reveals a wealth of contemporary myths an interpretation of which requires separate and more in-depth studies. In the article the author points to both tools and topics that can be analysed thanks to them with reference to the categories of power distribution, consumerism, democracy, virtual panopticon, configuration of social compromises. Other important topics in her opinion are gender studies, studies dealing with sexuality, nationality globalisation, ethnicity, psychological dependence and many other socially relevant issues each of which is a separate story.
