Inwestycje rozwojowe jako element strategii przedsiębiorstw rodzinnych funkcjonujących na polskim rynku

Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badania, którego głównym celem było rozpoznanie aktywności przedsiębiorstw rodzinnych funkcjonujących na polskim rynku w zakresie realizacji inwestycji rozwojowych. Ponadto w badaniu podjęto się identyfikacji związków występujących pomiędzy inwestycjami rozwojowymi realizowanymi w przedsiębiorstwach rodzinnych a: wielkością przedsiębiorstwa, jego zasięgiem rynkowym, rodzajem działalności oraz postrzeganiem konkurencji jako bariery w rozwoju firmy przez menedżerów zarządzających przedsiębiorstwem. Realizacja wyznaczonych celów została osiągnięta na podstawie badania pierwotnego przeprowadzonego na próbie 353 przedsiębiorstw rodzinnych funkcjonujących na polskim rynku. Otrzymane rezultaty wskazują, że dominująca większość przedsiębiorstw rodzinnych w Polsce realizuje inwestycje rozwojowe. Na podstawie przeprowadzonej analizy stwierdzono, że spośród rozpatrywanych zmiennych na inwestycje rozwojowe istotny wpływ mają wielkość oraz zasięg rynkowy przedsiębiorstwa rodzinnego.

This article presents results of a study which aimed to recognize the activity of family enterprises operating on the Polish market in the implementation of development investments. The study identifies relationships between the development investments carried out by family enterprises and a number of factors including the size of an enterprise, its market reach, the type of activity and the perception of competition by managers of those companies. The study results are based on the primary survey carried out on a sample of 353 family enterprises. Findings of the study indicate that the majority of family enterprises in Poland introduce development investments. Conducted analysis shows that development investments are significantly affected by the firm size and market reach of the family firm.

The project specialties ordered by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education is a challenge and an opportunity for the organization to improve the quality of education. Running the project specialties Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business and acquiring funding for the project have met with great interest on the part of the candidates. The realization of the planned tasks in the project will ensure high quality of education. The studies at master level were very popular among the candidates. This is particularly important in the context of the fact that the first graduates will have completed their bachelor’s degree by June 2014.

W artykule podjęto się poznania źródeł rekrutacji przedsiębiorstw rodzinnych funkcjonujących obecnie w polskiej gospodarce. Ponadto celem badania było rozpoznanie zależności występujących pomiędzy wielkością polskich przedsiębiorstw rodzinnych, a źródłami pozyskiwania pracowników przez te przedsiębiorstwa. Przyjęto hipotezę zgodnie z którą wybór źródeł rekrutacji w przedsiębiorstwach rodzinnych jest istotnie uzależniony od wielkości przedsiębiorstwa. Weryfikację hipotezy oraz realizację przyjętych celów osiągnięto w oparciu o badanie pierwotne.

The aim of the publication is presenting some internal environmental factors affecting the competitiveness of baking industry enterprises. The source material for the analysis was the data collected during the survey conducted in 2016 among 77 companies. Enterprises of baking industry indicated that among the internal factors of competitiveness, production factors are the most important. Very important factors proved to be factors related to capital resources and physical resources, as well as factors in the area of sales and distribution. In turn, the least important internal factors is intellectual capital and management style.
