Делегированный синдром Мюнхгаузена - это психологическое расстройство, при котором родители или лица их замещающие намеренно вызывают у ребенка болезнен-ные состояния, навлекая его на разные анализы и исследования, а все это затем, чтобы держать его в убеждении о своей необходимости. В статье рассматривается поведение бабушки герoя, которя системой запретов и распоряжений манипулирует мальчиком и его матерью и препятствует в гармоническом развитии личности своего внука.Liliana KalitaBURY ME BEHIND THE BASEBOARD BY PAVEL SANAYEV AS AN ARTISTIC ILLUSTRATION OF THE MUNCHAUSEN SYNDROME BY PROXY Summary The paper presents the psychical disorder, from which suffers Nina Antonovna, grand-mother of an eight-year-old boy. Young Sasha Savelev is the main character and the narrator of Sanayev’s novel. Munchausen syndrome by proxy is a disorder in which a person deli-berately causes injury or illness to his or her own child, usually to gain attention or some other benefi t. The motivation is to assume the sick role by proxy. The article shows the mechanisms and causes of this disorder.

Предметом анализа в предлагаемой статье является протестное отношение поколения next к действительности, базирующей на идеях потребления. Контекстом для оспаривающих тенденций является американская субкультура битников. Критическое отношение к консьюмеризму приводит молодых людей к поискам альтернативного стиля жизни - прежде всего он сводится к бродяжничеству как возможности познания собственного «я» и другого человека. Важной составляющей альтернативных форм экзистенции является контакт с природой и обращение к восточному мистицизму. Бунт молодого поколения имеет прежде всего психологический (расширение собственного сознания) и социальный (изменение социальных идеалов) характер.

This paper examines Russia’s “next” generation and its expressions of anti-consu- merist protest, which stem from a fascination with the american beat Generation. Criticism of the consumerist lifestyle prompts the protagonists of bogatyreva’s prose to seek an alternative, especially through hitchhiking, which provides the opportunity to become closer to oneself and others. Communion with nature and a turn towards Eastern Mysticism become important elements of these new styles of existence. The nature of the rebellion of the “next” generation is primarily psy- chological, with an emphasis on expanding one’s own awareness, as well as social, underpinned by the dream of creating a society based on anti-capitalist ideals.

Tatyana Tolstaya is one of the most accomplished contemporary Russian writers. She represents a postmodernist trend of which parody is a vital part. In her prose one can find parodies of political systems, social groups, romantic ideals, Soviet reality and human behavior. The article analyzes Tolstaya’s use of parody in her most popular stories, i.e. Hunting the Wooly Mammoth, Fire and Dust, Night, The Fakir and Okkervil River.

The paper analyses Irina Mamayeva’s short stories and tales that show the life in Russian rural areas during a dozen or so years following perestroika, and point out its influence on both individual life and that of a village community as a group. The picture of the rural areas in the 1990s and at the beginning of the 21st century is pessimistic, filled with images of dilapidating houses, companies being shut down, lack of transport connections. This material destruction is accompanied by the spiritual degradation of the inhabitants: poverty, unemployment, mutual aggression and the feeling of being abandoned by the previous system.

The analysis concentrates on mediatisation and commercialization processes of sport in the contemporary world, and their update in Sergey Samsonov’s work Ноги. The bearer of the idea is a talented Russian football player, reduced to the advertised product and contemporary sport gadget. The situation poses questions relating to the identity and individuality of the hero, as well as possibilities of protection against mechanisms of commercialization; in the broader sense, it epitomizes the condition of the world we all live in.

The subject of the considerations is the free-time educational activity of the protagonists of Sergey Kuznetsov’s novel, which can be considered as an example of both scientific and developmental tutoring. The writer, using the genre of the family saga, through the fate of Vladimir, Valery and Andrei, shows one hundred years from the history of Russia in the context of the influence of politics on an individual’s life. Fear of power, rebellion against it, or, finally, disappointment with the current social situation become an incentive for the characters to seek alternative forms of fulfillment. Tutoring is therefore a form of escapism from reality, and its implementation reflects the spirit of the times in which the Dymovs live.
