Artykuł przedstawia biografię profesora Leszka Romanowskiego. Urodził się 22 maja 1955 r. w Śremie. Ukończył studia na Akademii Medycznej w Poznaniu w 1980 r., następnie rozpoczął specjalizację z ortopedii i traumatologii narządu ruchu. Pochodzi z lekarskiej rodziny i kontynuuje tradycje związane z ortopedią i reumatologią. Od 2007 r. pełni funkcję kierownika Katedry i Kliniki Traumatologii, Ortopedii i Chirurgii Ręki Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Poznaniu. Jego pasją jest motoryzacja, a zwłaszcza motocykle. Jego dar do majsterkowania i zdolności manualne pomagają na co dzień w trudnych zabiegach i innowacyjnych rozwiązaniach operacyjnych. Profesor Romanowski jest osobą wymagająca, ale motywującą i inspirującą swój zespół do rozwoju, jak również osobą bardzo serdeczną, o wysokiej kulturze osobistej

The article presents the biography of professor Leszek Romanowski. He was born 1955 in the town of Srem. He graduated from the Medical Academy in Poznan in 1980, then, began to specialize in orthopedics and traumatology. He comes from a medical family and continues the traditions related to orthopedics and rheumatology. Since 2007, he has been the head of the Department and Clinic of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Hand Surgery at the Medical University of Poznan. He has great passion for motorization, especially motorcycles. His gift for DIY and manual skills help with difficult procedures and innovative surgical solutions. Professor Romanowski is a demanding person, but motivating and inspiring his team to develop, as well as a very cordial person with high personal culture.
