Soldiers are currently one of the largest professional groups treated as long-term travelers. They are stationed in difficult environmental conditions for many months. The purpose of this article is to present the scale of health threats faced by participants in peacekeeping and stabilization missions / operations. Today's security challenges encompass a huge mass of complexes and evolving threats such as pandemics, international terrorism, organized crime, cyber threats, environmental degradation and natural disasters. The thesis of the article is that in the era of modern threats, health problems of soldiers include transmission diseases, zoonoses, combat and non-combat injuries. The Central and South Asian region has the highest rate of infectious and invasive diseases in the world. Afghanistan and Pakistan are the reporting countries for poliomyelitis. Taking into account the following issues, it is extremely important to monitor the scale of health threats to participants in military operations, to conduct appropriate risk assessments so that control measures reflect the latest scientific knowledge in the field of protection against the risk of infection, disease or injury management. A comprehensive emergency preparedness plan enables military operations to be better prepared for a swift, coordinated and effective response, while tailoring resources to the specific situation.

Immigrants and immigrants are groups that are particularly affected by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting restrictions in social and economic life. The global crisis that the virus triggered in early 2020 has drastically changed people’s lives in many respects, but the changes have varied among different social groups. The way of coping with the challenges posed by the current situation to migrants is influenced by many factors, including, in particular, the legal situation (immigrant status, legalization of stay, etc.), the situation of the industry in which they work or run a business, housing conditions, and the level of language skills the country in which they live, the degree of integration with the host society, access to knowledge about regulations and changes introduced by the state and local government administration, access to support networks both locally and abroad (including in the country of origin), social attitudes towards to foreigners, the presence of support programs targeted at specific groups. All indicators show that immigrants and their children have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic and are likely to continue to be severely affected, both in terms of health and integration results.

Imigranci i imigrantki to grupy szczególnie dotknięte skutkami pandemii COVID-19 oraz wprowadzonymi w związku z nią ograniczeniami w życiu społecznym i gospodarczym.

The beginning of the 21st century is characterized by a deep crisis of the national and international security system. For many factors caused by the intensification of military-political conflicts of a new type, the term “hybrid war” is now used. A feature of these conflicts is, in the first place, the use by the opponents of a wide scale of non-military means of influence: economic, informational, environmental, social, political and others. It is important here to justify the importance of the transformation of the state system of civil protection, which is being developed under the influence of contemporary military and political conflicts. The problem of military-political rivalry, by defining the content of the term “military-political conflict”, leads to a confrontation of political entities both within the state and at the state level, as well as between states, aimed at achieving their own political interests using various means and ways of influencing the political, military, economic, social and information spheres. The purpose of this speech is to present the mechanisms of solving all existing problems related to the functioning of society and to present the forms and features of contemporary hybrid conflicts.
