Idee nowego zarządzania wprowadzane w sektorze publicznym są implementowane także w instytucjach systemu ochrony zdrowia w Polsce. W artykule autorka przedstawia zarys genezy nowego zarządzania publicznego, odwołując się do chicagowskiej szkoły liberalizmu, doktryny Margaret $atcher i tzw. reaganomics. Następnie prezentuje obietnice, korzyści i zagrożenia, jakie niosą ze sobą nowe zasady zarządzana dla pacjentów i całego społeczeństwa. Na koniec przedstawione zostają pytania i kwestie do dalszej dyskusji.

Ideas regarding new methods of management introduced into the public sector are also being implemented in the health service institutions in Poland. In this article the author begins with a discussion on the genesis of New Public Management going back to the Chicago School of liberalism, the $atcher doctrine and so-called reaganomics. She further elaborates on the promises, bene(ts and threats of these new rules for patients and society as a whole. At the end, some questions for further discussions are put forward.
