The author deals with the changes of birth names mentioned in Swedish calendars.The author discusses changes in the native names given in the Swedish calendars. He recalls that the first Swedish holiday almanac, issued by the Catholic Church, dates back to the end of the 16th century. The new calendar, published at the very beginning of the 20th century, differs markedly from its predecessors: more than 150 names of saints have been deleted and replaced by 177 new names, Latin names have often been replaced by their Swedish forms. A significant change took place in the 1980s, when a new calendar was issued containing three names for each day, the first of which always coincided with the hitherto valid calendar. Further changes to the calendar took place in 1993 and 2001. These three changes were always based on proposals from Swedish onomastics.

Autorka se zabývá proměnami rodných jmen uváděných ve švédských kalendářích. Připomíná, že první švédský almanach obsahující svátky, vydaný katolickou církví, pochází již z konce 16. století. Nový kalendář, vydaný na samém počátku 20. století, se od svých předchůdců výrazně odlišuje: více než 150 jmen svatých bylo vypuštěno a nahrazeno 177 novými jmény, latinská jména byla často nahrazována jejich švédskými podobami. K podstatné změně došlo v 80. letech 20. století, kdy byl vydán nový kalendář obsahující pro každý den tři jména, z nichž první se vždy shodovalo s doposud platným kalendářem. K dalším změnám kalendáře došlo v letech 1993 a 2001. Tyto tři změny vycházely vždy z návrhů švédských onomastiků.
