The article presents an analysis of a questionnaire-based survey conducted among the inhabitants of the city of Biała Podlaska. The results presented are supposed to illustrate the level of sense of security among the people. The article also contains inhabitants’ propositions that could increase security in the city. Further parts of the work also entail the scale of crime registered by the City Police Headquarters in the area of the city in the years 2012 to 2017.

W niniejszym artykule dokonano analizy wyników badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych wśród mieszkańców Białej Podlaskiej, dotyczących oceny ich poczucia bezpieczeństwa. Przedstawione wyniki mają na celu zobrazowanie poziomu poczucia bezpieczeństwa wśród mieszkańców. W artykule zaprezentowano również propozycje mieszkańców, które mogą pomóc w podniesieniu bezpieczeństwa na terenie Białej Podlaskiej. Ukazano także skalę przestępstw zarejestrowanych przez Komendę Miejską Policji na terenie miasta w latach 2012–2017.
