The peer review of the State Audit Office of Hungary took place between February 2015 and February 2016, and the final report on the peer review was presented in May 2016 in Budapest. At the invitation of the President of the Hungarian State Audit Office, the peer review was conducted by the Supreme Audit Office of Poland and the National Audit Office of Lithuania. The peer review was carried out in accordance with the memorandum signed by the Presidents of the three SAIs, and it was based on the INTOSAI guidelines. In their article, the authors present the nature and course of the audit, as well as selected issues that it comprised.
