Derfintos  known as Tadeusz Bulharin (1789-1859) – between reality and autocreationAbstract   Tadeusz Bulharin was one of the most controversial Russian writers and publisher of the firsthalf of the nineteenth century. Those who carried on a research work on his literary  and morals and historical novels. This article is an attempt at the presentation of Bulharin live from the perspective of his own assessment of himself, the people who surrounded him, the events in which he participated.Particular attention is paid in the article to the information (autocreation), which concluded in his Memories (Воспоминания).The author is emphasizing problems associated with determining the identity of the man which was born and was brought up as the Pole, and from the political reasons became a Russian.  Key words: Tadeusz Bulharin, writers, publisher, autocreation, identity
