Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy zagadnień związanych z Internetem Rzeczy (IoT) i ma charakter poznawczy. Celem artykułu jest charakterystyka podstawowych elementów wybranej platformy wspomagającej implementację profesjonalnych rozwiązań klasy Internetu Rzeczy wraz z jej analizą funkcjonalności i użyteczności. Postawiony cel osiągnięto z wykorzystaniem: metody analizy i krytyki literatury przedmiotu, metody obserwacyjnej oraz metody indywidualnych przypadków. Głównym rezultatem przeprowadzonych prac jest szczegółowa prezentacja wybranej platformy tworzenia rozwiązań klasy IoT wraz wyszczególnieniem wyników jej analizy pod kątem funkcjonalności i użyteczności.

The main area of scientific interest of this article is connected with Internet of Things. This article is divided into two main parts. In the first part we present the state-of-the art related with Internet of Things. In the second part of the article, the Kontakt. io platform was characterized. The third part is devoted to functionality and usability analysis of the chosen platform supporting implementation of the IoT solutions.
