Artykuł omawia politykę zagraniczną Ukrainy poprzez analizę współczesnej ukraińskiej prasy pod kątem wykorzystania przez nią karykatur i innych podobnych przekazów. W szczególności tematem analizy jest badanie funkcji jakie spełniają publikowane w prasie kreskówki. Okazuje się, że przy pomocy kreskówek traktowanych jako gatunek dziennikarski, prasa ukraiñska bardzo szybko reaguje na wydarzenia w polityce zagranicznej Ukrainy. Ich twórcy starają się pokazywać swoją wizję perspektyw Ukrainy w Unii Europejskiej i Unii Celnej.

The paper deals with the foreign policy of Ukraine using cartoons from the modern Ukrainian news and analysis magazines. In particular, the author examines the themes of the cartoons and their function. Cartoons as a journalistic genre actively respond to events in the foreign policy of Ukraine. The cartoonists tried to show their vision for Ukraine’s prospects in the European Union and Customs Union.
